The Faithful Pursuit is based upon a large American sedan. The 1969 Buick Electra 225 Custom Sport Coupe was among the most powerful and luxurious American grand touring cars. Able to cruise at 120mph all day, go from 0-60 in 7 seconds, cover the 1/4 mile at 15.35 seconds at 90mph, and achieve 20mpg at 55mph the Electra was ahead of its time. At 4,200lbs it was only 200-300 heavier than its muscle car cousin the Buick GSX and 200-900lbs lighter than its big car brethren like Cadillacs and Lincoln.
