Michael A. Joseph, II is a American inventor and engineer of Grenadian ancestry. Michael's cousin Grenadian American George Fleary served as a Tuskegee Airman during World War II and swore Michael into his organization, The Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. in 1987. Michael holds 8 US patents with several international grants of those patents in Europe and Asia. He is a avid World War II historian and has spoken to many groups about the Tuskegee Airmen, Civil Rights, and the impact that blacks have had on the success of the United States. 

Michael has a facebook page, is active with the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc., and has served many organizations in public service roles over the years. He has traveled to Europe and Asia in his career with Johnson and Johnson and Corning Incorporated as an engineer. 

Michael began working with Dr. Jack Mirable in 1992 to raise money for Holy Family Adoptive and Relief Services, focused on war torn Bosnia. He joined Jack and others on Trip #5 and spent time in Bosnia during the war there in 1993, bringing medical supplies, food while working to better the lives of orphans there. 

A die hard Buick performance aficionado, Michael adapted his first car into the famous Tuskegee Airmen's Faithful Pursuit. This was Michael's first car, a 1969 Buick Electra 225 Custom Sport Coupe, which underwent its transformation between 1993 and 2004 when it was finally completed as an Electra GSX and dedicated to the Tuskegee Airmen by retired Major General Mike Hall.






The future of TAI rests with those of us who a dedicated to the preservation of the knowledge of the African contribution to the defense of liberty during World War II.

The current challenge is to take the Tuskegee Airmen's Faithful Pursuit to new levels of performance. 

Michael has been providing Tuskegee Airmen presentations since 1987. He helped his chapter in NY as the Airmen traveled throughout the metro NY area and he continued this work with the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. in Atlanta from 1988-95 and from 1995 to the present in the Southern Tier based in Corning.
